Description
Critical Pistol Skills is a level-one training course in our Defensive Pistol training program. It is an intermediate-level shooting course teaching you the critical pistol skills you need if you carry a handgun in defense of yourself or others. This training course is for those shooters who wish to become masters of their concealed carry or service pistol. Please check out this page for more information about this class.
Prerequisites:
- Students must have attended either a basic pistol or concealed carry class with any reputable instructor and understand the basics of how to use their pistol.
- Some basic gear is required, including 500 rounds of ammunition, a safe pistol, and a safe holster. Please learn more about Additional Gear for Defensive Pistol.
Students who successfully complete this course shall receive a certificate of completion. This training course meets the yearly training requirement for armed security officers licensed by the IDFPR.
