Returns, Cancellation, & Privacy Policy

Thank you for choosing Alpha Koncepts for your firearm training needs.  It is important that you understand our Returns and Cancellation policy before you make a purchase or commit to a training class.  We understand that life happens, and you might find the need to reschedule your training class or return a purchase.  If you ever find yourself in this position, this is how it works…

Cancellations and Returns for Public Classes.

Public classes are classes listed on the public calendar and enrollment is open to the general public. Public classes are instructed by Alpha Koncepts staff instructors.

  1. Full payment is required at registration for Public classes. “Full Payment” may exclude such items as range fees, equipment rentals, ammunition, etc… Please see the specific class listing for any exclusions.
  2. If you reschedule with greater than 72 hours’ notice, your class fee may be credited to a future class at no extra charge.
  3. If you reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice, a refund is no longer an option. Class fees may be credited to a future class with a $15 administrative fee.
  4. Student Cancellations may incur a $15 administrative processing fee.
  5. If Alpha Koncepts finds the need to cancel a class for any reason, the student(s) will have the option of applying training fees to future classes or requesting a full refund with no penalty.
  6. Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason to reschedule or cancel, except for life-threatening conditions such as a tornado, lightning (outdoor classes only), hurricane, or earthquake. Snow, rain, hot, and cold are not acceptable reasons.

  8. Students who are no-call no-shows shall receive no refund whatsoever.

Cancellations and Returns for Private/Group Classes.

Private (aka Group) classes are defined as classes that you contract specifically with Alpha Koncepts for a private group setting. Also included in this description of private classes are public classes where your group negotiates a discounted rate for multiple guests. Private classes are instructed by Alpha Koncepts staff instructors.

  1. For Private classes, typically at least a 50% non-refundable down payment is required at registration. This down payment may vary, please consult your contract for more details.
  2. If Alpha Koncepts finds the need to cancel a class for any reason, the group will have the option of applying training fees to future classes or requesting a full refund with no penalty.
  3. The down payment shall not be refunded for private classes if the group needs to cancel or reschedule. This is because of the upfront investment required to set up a class and in most cases, these fees we incur are not refundable to us. If the fees incurred by Alpha Koncepts exceed the original down payment amount, the group shall be responsible to reimburse Alpha Koncepts for these fees plus reasonable profit as well.

Cancellations and Returns for Special Guest Classes.

Special Guest classes are classes that may be public or private. Special Guest classes are not instructed by Alpha Koncepts staff instructors and are instead instructed by special guest instructors or subject matter experts.

  1. When taking a training class hosted by Alpha Koncepts, but instructed by an invited guest instructor, there shall be no refunds for any reason at any time. However, you may transfer your enrollment to another qualified person by contacting Alpha Koncepts.

  3. Student transfers may incur a $15 administrative processing fee.

Merchandise Returns

Merchandise returns shall be accepted if the merchandise meets the following conditions and criteria…

  1. Any merchandise returned must have been purchased from Alpha Koncepts within the last 30 calendar days.
  2. Proof of purchase will be required.
  3. Merchandise must be in new unopened original packaging. We can not accept returns on open packages.
  4. Defective items must return directly to the manufacturer by following their policies.
  5. Shipping charges shall not be refunded unless Alpha Koncepts made an error.
  6. If the customer is to ship the returned item(s) to Alpha Koncepts, the customer will be responsible to pay return shipping charges, unless Alpha Koncepts made an error.

Shipping Policies

  1. Alpha Koncepts cannot be responsible for packages “lost in the mail”. Once your package is entrusted to a common carrier (i.e. UPS and FedEx), Alpha Koncepts does not have control over the package. Additionally, you agree that once such common carrier delivers your package to the address you specified, you are fully responsible for the safety of your package.
  2. See the “Shipping charges” in the merchandise return policy for information regarding returns or exchanges on shipping fees.
  3. Items purchased directly from 3rd parties such as Zazzle, CafePress, etc… are subject to the policies of those vendors.

Digital Media

Digital media are digital files such as documents, photographs, or videos that may be purchased or may have been bundled with your training or classroom fees. These files may have been distributed through email, downloaded via the internet, or on media devices such as thumb drives or disks.

  1. Due to the ease at which digital media may be copied, Alpha Koncepts has taken the stance that once you are sent the file, download link, or otherwise possess the digital media, you now own it and there can be no refunds. There are absolutely no exchanges, returns, or refunds for digital media.
  2. Public and Private training classes which included digital media, and may otherwise be eligible for a full or partial refund, will not receive a refund equal to the value of the provided digital content. To put it another way; If you are eligible for a refund on your training class, the value of the digital media will be subtracted from the refund amount.
  3. In most cases, these files are copyrighted material and are not to be redistributed.

Privacy Policy.

  1. Alpha Koncepts will not share your personal information except as necessary to fulfill a purchase or class requirements.
  2. Some facilities such as ranges require each student to complete their own registration or waiver.
  3. Our partner training organizations including but not limited to the National Rifle Association, United States Concealed Carry Association, or American Red Cross may require that we submit a class roster or otherwise provide your data upon request, which may include your contact information.
  4. Please be aware that Alpha Koncepts may utilize 3rd party software that may use cookie technology.
