Some States Honor the IL Concealed Carry License allowing you to carry a concealed license within those states. While there is no true reciprocity because Illinois doesn’t honor any other state carry conceal permits, as of the time of this posting there are 33 states (plus Illinois) that will honor the IL Carry Conceal License or are permitless.

A Florida OR Arizona non-resident concealed carry license allows the licensee to also carry in the following states:
- Louisianna
- New Mexico
- North Dakota
- Delaware
It is recommended that if an Illinois licensee is to carry outside of Illinois, except in a permitless carry state, to also obtain a non-resident concealed weapon permit from Florida or Arizona. This is because the new Illinois concealed carry licenses have a major problem.
